Crysalis Inn & Spa, WA (2008)
4400 sq.ft.
The owners' challenge: to increase revenues within existing footprint. IDC re-sculpted the interior spaces to create a better flow and enhanced guest experiences.
Features: clients begin in the relaxation lounge with waterfall. Signature services include Thallaso therapy bench, flotation table, fiber optic star ceiling above a romantic soaking tub. Northwest art and materials emphasize the distinctive sense of place. New visual merchandising increased product space by 100%.
Outcome: Reclaimed space under the hotels' grand stair created a guest service desk within view of hotel guests. This green renovation of an existing spa fit IDC’s environmental ethic, specifying non-toxic paints & building materials. Large windows enhance views and provide natural light. Dimmers in treatment rooms conserve energy and promote relaxation.
“Everyone loves the renovation, the staff loves it, we’ve increased our revenue and took our customer service to the next level.”
